Ever wanted to yell fuck really loud?
Alright, so the #MyShirtRules campaign slowly getting some recognition. And when I say slowly…I mean no shirts have been produced…yet. I made up a sheet of 9 desired colors of shirts to be produced. I thought up of 3 guy colors RED, BLACK, GRAY. There are 3 girl colors, PINK, LIGHT BLUE, and a TURQUOISE. Then I have 3 colors that could be guy or girl ORANGE, PURPLE and NAVY. For right now, in the beginning stages, I’m just trying a simple design with just the phrase #MyShirtRules on the front. But, in the long run, there will be fancy designs inside the words, inside the hash tag, around the words…etc. This is just beginning stages to the #MyShirtRules movement.
The twitter account @TagMyShirtRules is also slowly building. It has the Threadless twitter account following it, it has @ilovesuperheroshirtsollowing it, and it just recently added a new t shirt follower @iHeartDesigns today. So, the TagMyShirtRules has some T Shirt companies that are somewhat interested in the #MyShirtRules movement.
The hash tag #MyShirtRules has only been used by the twitter account and my personal twitter account, so at least I know, when the trend does pick up, It was an original hash tag started by me.
Ok, well, that’ s it. Stay patient for what’s to come.

The hash tag (#) has become unknowingly the perfect way to stay connected to with people all around the world. Say you upload a picture to Instagram with you at the beach and use something like #relaxing, and then click on that hash tag, it will take you to about 100,000+ of people doing things that are relaxing.
By using the hash tag, we are able to now connect, share and laugh with other people around the globe.
Say in twitter, you post “People have a staring problem. #youcreepyashell” If people find that hash tag funny and they find themselves seeing that creep them out as well, the new hash tag trend #youcreepyashell, might start GLOBALLY trending. Meaning people have seen it, thought it was funny or clever enough to tag their own posts. The hash tag #youcreepyashell has now gone from a saying that YOU use, to global scale in a matter of seconds.
My goal with #MyShirtRules is to get it nationally trending and to possibly spark some pretty awesome things.
With #MyShirtRules trending and seeing people across the world wearing this shirt, a sense of unity and connection will be spread. Just think, you upload a picture to Instagram with you waiting in line for a Coldplay concert, wearing the #MyShirtRocks t-shirt. You then use the #MyShirtRules, and it takes you to other people who have been doing cool things while wearing the same kind of shirt as you. Sooner or later you see celebrities wearing them and you feel like you too have some kind of celebrity status…
The #MyShirtRules is more than just a design, it’s a way to feel connected to people. It’s a way to get noticed. It provides a some sort awesome entertainment.
This project will soon kick off, I gotta win this contest first though. I’ll keep you guys updated!
